TORONTO, ON–(Marketwired – September 01, 2017) – Slate Retail REIT (TSX: SRT.U) (TSX: SRT.UN) (the “REIT”), an owner and operator of U.S. grocery- anchored real estate, announced today that it has entered into a binding agreement to acquire North Lake Commons (the “Property”) for U.S. $15.6 million ($122 per square foot). The Property is 89% occupied, is Jewel-Osco-anchored and is located in the Chicago Metropolitan Statistical Area. Closing is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2017 and remains subject to customary closing conditions.
